Using one word to say about myself: Lazy.
I am lazy at heart. My idea of a great thing to do on a sunny summer day is to sit inside in front of the television eating junk food and watching television from sun up to sun down. Shameful but true and I admire those who are the opposite of me.
That is all I have to say about me and who I am at this point in time.
Going forward, I am inspired to get out of my comfort zone and work against my lazy quality by using this blog as a tool to document my efforts and to keep me accountable. I want to work on three areas of my life: Health, Wealth and Time.
All I know of health is that you must eat right and exercise. Given the first paragraph above it is obvious that I am not a huge success in this area.
What I know about wealth is what I learned from watching my mother as she attempted to balance the checkbook in front of the 200 pound adding machine and turned into someone who resembled the Looney Tunes Tasmanian Devil until that machine with its rows of numbered buttons and side lever was returned to the closet. I am sorry to say that I am imitating the same behavior in front of my computer.
Then there is time which I don’t have enough of because I am too busy wasting it.
I will look at this work as an adventure. How does a lazy person begin a new adventure? They take inspiration from Quintus Horatius Flaccus aka Horace who is credited with these words “He who has begun has half done. Dare to be wise; begin!”
